Owner's Introduction
We are moving into a new chapter in our lives and have decided to sell LightHeart, our Nautor Swan 46. LightHeart has spent 19 years sailing the fresh waters of the Great Lakes in the USA and it shows. She is definitely a boat that stands out from the crowd and is often mistaken for a much newer boat. Her all teak interior is beautiful and in excellent condition. She has the comfort and convenience of a well appointed yacht and can easily be sailed by two people. Fellow sailors often make it their personal goal to try and beat the "Swan". Happily, they are very often disappointed. For cruising or racing, she is truly a delight to sail.
Accommodations
LightHeart has a very desirable floor plan that includes two cockpits, a main salon area, and two separate staterooms (fore and aft). All interior cushions are upholstered in brown leather and she has an immaculate teak and holly cabin sole throughout.
The main salon has a U-shaped seating area to port with a large drop-leaf salon table with fiddles and a condiment rack below. Above this seating is a 6'5" Pilot Berth. To starboard, the main salon includes a 6'5" settee with an entertainment center above the seating (two shelves, a cabinet with a roll-down door, and a hanging locker). Forward of the settee is a bar locker and a cabinet with two shelves. Abundant locker storage exists outboard of each settee.
Moving forward, The Guest Stateroom includes an ensuite "Baby Blake" head, vanity, and shower to port. Full forward is a comfortable offset double berth with custom mattress and an adjacent dressing settee. To starboard there are two hanging lockers (one customized with teak shelving) and full length teak shelving running above the bed and starboard settee.
The aft master stateroom includes a centerline double berth with custom mattress, two hanging lockers (one starboard and one port), and a second companionway entrance with ladder that provides access to the aft cockpit, When not in use, the ladder slides and hides under the bed. There are settees and shelving (exposed and also with roll type doors) on either side of the berth. The ensuite master head is located to starboard and forward of the stateroom. Here you will find a "Baby Blake" head, vanity, shower with teak floor grate, and unique hullside cabinetry.
The galley runs forward of the aft stateroom to port (see full galley detail below).
The full size dedicated nav station is to starboard and aft of the main salon and across from the galley with the companionway between the two.
Forward and aft heads include Baby Blake Toilets, vanities with sinks, shower heads, and teak grates. There are unique cabinets above the toilet and sink areas in each head.
