Accommodations
Function and form blending together nicely to present an exceptionally well laid out interior. The starboard hull is dedicated to the private owners cabin including ensuite head with separate shower enclosure. The port hull houses two private guest cabins with a head and separate enclosed shower in between.
As with all serious cruising catamarans onboard life centers around the cockpit and salon. Here's where the Leopard comes into her own with oversized sliding doors that virtually eliminate the boundary between the two areas and provide an open airy feeling that is so rare on most boats. Large forward facing salon windows provide excellent light and visibility; exterior louvers provide shade. There are steps up to the top of the coach roof. Cooks and helmsman alike will love the well equipped galley up on the bridge deck. It's hinged countertop opens adjacent to the helmsman and is directly connected to the galley countertop. Galley crew can simply slide lunch down the counter.
The cockpit is spacious and comfortable. The helm station is mounted at the back of the coach roof. Both main & JIB sheets lead to stoppers and then to one electric and one manual self tailing winch directly adjacent to the helm. There's room for two on the bench seat but you need only one to trim sails! Visibility is excellent over the coach roof and a sliding trap door in the hard cockpit bimini/roof makes it easy to see the shape of the main.
The aft deck flows seamlessly into the cockpit with no steps up and the settee seating is large enough to be comfortable without impeding the traffic flow. The custom arch/davit  arrangement keep the dinghy high out of the water and allows for access and visibility around her.
Salon: spacious Ultra-Leather settee wraps around the dining table. There is exceptional storage under the settee and shelf storage behind and over. Two overhead hatches and an opening port provide ample ventilation. The sliding glass doors to the cockpit recess completely adding to the spaciousness and open air feeling. You have near 360 degree visibility from the salon and adjacent starboard galley. Electrical panel and electronics are mounted above the dual door refrig/ freezer on the port side.
Starboard hull: Private master suite with queen berth aft, hullside shelving, hanging locker, 3 storage lockers, 2 opening ports and an overhead hatch w/ suncover and screen. In the walkway forward there is a hanging locker with another storage locker below, cabinetry and shelving hullside, a desk with chair, and fliptop storage and cabinetry above. Forward is the head with electric toilet, vanity sink and enclosed shower. Full forward is a bulkhead opening where the watermaker is housed.
Port Hull: Private guest cabin forward with a queen berth and an extra sleeping berth full forward (or great storage), hullside shelving, hanging locker and two storage lockers, overhead hatch w/ suncover and screen, one opening port. Mid-hull head w/ enclosed shower, sink with vanity, manual toilet, mirrored medicine cabinet, opening port and overhead hatch.  Aft private guest stateroom with queen berth, 2 opening ports, hatch with sunshade and screen, hanging locker and 2 storage lockers.

"Rum Tum Tiger" is one of a kind. No charter use and smoking was not allowed. Owners bought her new in August of 2005 and have cruised her from NY to the Bahamas and everywhere in between plus the Great Lakes in the summers of 2009 and 2010. She has been well kept without regard to cost or effort needed. Her log book starts with her launching in South Africa and has been meticulously kept ever since. If you want a well preserved Leopard 40 with a known history and NO abuse, then Rum Tum Tiger stands alone.
